Overview Enhancing your event website with Content Pages Overview Enhancing your event website with Content Pages - a blog posting from Whindo - Ticket Whindo To Your Event

Event Content Pages

When designing Whindo we wanted to be sure that each event website had the ability to serve as a complete online marketing presence. We wanted Whindo to be leveraged as more than just an awesome ticketing system.

Like other online event management services Whindo provides rich text editors to allow organizers flexibility in how to display their content, but we recognized that there may be hurdles and/or limitations employing this approach by itself.

To ensure our organizers and attendees have the best user experience Whindo introduced Content Pages, a built-in content management system of preformatted pages. Each page allows organizers to simply plug in content, eliminating any need for image manipulation or complex HTML formatting. Each Content Option that is enabled will show up in the event websites side navigation making it easy for visitors to access the information they need.

Below is a listing of the current Content Pages available with Whindo.

  • Accommodations – Map local lodging and points of interest . Your attendees may be traveling to your event and may require accommodations. The accommodations content page provides visitors with a map of local lodging in relationship to your event. You can also add dining recommendations and/or local points of interest.
  • Sponsors – Showcase your event sponsors at customizable levels. Increase your sponsorship value by defining the various sponsorship levels and upload the sponsors' business logos. Each logo can also be hyperlinked to their company website. You can also choose to include specific sponsors on the printable ticket.
  • Speakers – Feature your keynote speakers, entertainment, and guests of honor. Introduce your attendees to notable participants of your event with biographies and photos.
  • Agenda – Outline your event program for easy reference. Provide insight into your event by displaying a scheduled timeline of activities throughout the duration of your event.
  • Frequently Asked Questions – Address the concerns of your registrants. It is common to address items such as parking instructions, cancelation or refund policies, special accommodations, privacy policy, etc.
  • Photo Gallery – Engage your prospects with the power of pictures. Visually show value by uploading photos from previous events or while the event is taking place.
  • Testimonials – Personal recommendations generate personal registrations. One of the best ways for you to communicate the value of your event to your prospects is by using testimonials. Testimonials dynamically rotate throughout your event website as well as being displayed on a dedicated content page.
  • Attendees – Look who's coming now. Publish your attendee list to illustrate the audience that will be in attendance. Networking with targeted personel can be a strong motivator to attend your event.
  • Contact Organizer – Keeping the lines of communication open. A contact form is integrated into your event website that will relay email questions directly to the event organizer.

These content pages greatly enhance your event’s online marketing presence and serve as a valuable resource to your attendees. And if the templates don’t fully satisfy your needs, you also have the ability to modify the header and footer of each page with our rich text editors.
